TODAY FOR AUCTION Vintage Handmade 14k 585 Yellow Gold 0.17ct Natural, treated Emerald and Diamond 16.0″ Necklace, 5.6 gram (Checked by M) This vintage, very elegant natural, treated emerald and diamond necklace is absolutely beautiful. This pendant is stamped 585 which is the karat designation often used by European jewelers. There are 3 natural, round cut natural, treated emeralds with a most desirable deep emerald green color, set in a thick hand cast pendant mounting. To accent the natural, treated emeralds 4 J- color, SI2- clarity natural not enhanced, bright white single cut diamonds, sparkling with a wide array of all the colors of the rainbow, were prong set around a shiny diamond look. The contrast between the deep green color of the natural, treated emeralds, and the bright sparkle of the diamonds, is amazing. Finally, a thick strong very smooth, link chain necklace was very securely, hand soldered directly to the pendant. There is a thick, strong lock and safety catch to ensure this treasured keepsake is secure. This beautiful necklace is sophisticated enough to be worn to the classiest of affairs. This listing is for a cool 14 karat white gold “shimmering diamond” pendant with chain. The pendant has an estimated and manufacturer’s stated total diamond weight of 0.17 carat. The major center diamond is estimated at 0.12 carat, and the remaining 13 side accent diamonds have a combined weight estimated at 0.05 carat. The diamonds have an average color graded at I/J (near colorless range) and clarity at SI-2 (eye clean to borderline eye clean) and are of good overall cut. Diamond is April’s birthstone, but this classic and versatile piece is a joy to own and wear regardless of your birth month! These diamonds are all 100% genuine, natural, earth mined, untreated, an unenhanced. Earth mined diamonds have a many centuries long history of appreciating in value over time, whereas lab grown diamonds have an undeniable history of being available for less and less money every year! Don’t settle for a mass-produced lab grown diamond that lacks the rarity of the diamonds your parents and grandparents owned! The center diamond in this pendant is on a suspended bar that allows it to shimmer and sparkle as the wearer moves. The pendant itself measures about 9 mm in length and 7 mm in width with a hidden bail opening that will allow up to about a 1.5 mm diameter chain. It comes with a nice, sturdy Italian made cable link chain, but it easily slides off and could be worn on a different chain. The chain can be worn at either a 16 or 18 in finished length and is held with a nice lobster claw clasp. The pendant is by Interings, style number ELP1344. I don’t know if it was manufactured in New York or imported from India; they do both. Interings is an absolute favorite supplier of many retail jewelers! The chain is from the large wholesaler Quality Gold of Cincinnati. The pendant itself weighs 0.6 grams and the chain weighs 1.8 grams for a total of 2.4 grams. The pendant and the chain are both solid 14 karat white gold and new; don’t be duped into buying a gold plated piece or some else’s worn out castoff! This piece was originally priced at $1,295 in our brick and mortar fine jewelry store that closed in 2020. We are offering it for the very low, closeout, price of just $599.99, and we are including free insured priority shipping!
